About Social Gravy

Romantic Rock’n’Roll for the Time-Worn Heart. Timeless songwriting. Real instruments. Soul-drenched honesty in every note.
“All of Social Gravy's artistry lies there: in this ability to express the essential without ever overdoing it.” Iggy Magazine

Social Gravy is the Los Angeles–based duo of Brad Kohn and Vee Bordukov—two kindred spirits from opposite sides of the world, united by a shared obsession: making music that means something.
Brad, a classically trained pianist and multi-platinum-awarded producer from London, has worked with some of the biggest names in modern music—Pendulum, Foo Fighters, Neil Young, even The Royal Ballet. He studied at The Academy of Contemporary Music, built his own studio on a 100-acre farm, and earned his place as a Grammy voting member through sheer devotion to craftsmanship.

Vee brings the poetic fire of his Belarusian rebel youth and a global creative sensibility shaped by years in art, activism, and music.

“Social Gravy sound like the lovechild of Petty, The Police, and Pink Floyd, raised on vinyl and late-night honesty.” — Indie Band Guru

Their story begins in a modest studio in LA, where Brad and Vee met to try out a song idea. One idea became three. Three became a catalogue. There were no loops, no ghostwriters, no autotune—just two musicians chasing a sound they both missed: live-tracked performances, unpredictable dynamics, and songs that feel like someone is telling the truth.
It wasn’t a business decision. It was a heart decision.
“This is music that hugs your soul and kicks your ass—sometimes in the same verse.” — Underground Music Collective

For Social Gravy, music is a refuge and a revelation—a place where imperfection is beauty, and vulnerability is power. If you’ve ever fallen in love too hard, held on too long, or fought to remember who you really are, their songs were written for you.

Coming Soon:

Their next chapter arrives with the Pebble EP, dropping Fall 2025—a rich blend of Zeppelin‑esque drama, soulful ballads, and island-tinged grooves. Produced by Brad Kohn himself, the record captures a full spectrum of emotion—from existential ache to ecstatic freedom. It is Grammy-eligible, fan-focused, and built to remind listeners: there’s still gold in the gravel.
